SANDHILLS TEEN CHALLENGE

Sandhills Teen Challenge is a Christian program that provides drug prevention and educational ministry in the schools. The program also works with alcohol and drug abusers in a residential program and through a crisis counseling service, Services are provided free of charge.

Inpatient and out patient treatment services for substance abuse. Program offers inpatient detox, comprehensive plan for treatment, family involvement and introduction to AA.

RESIDENTIAL FACILITIES

BETHESDA, INC.

A residential rehabilitation facility for males with substance abuse problems. Also available is non-medical detoxification with coordinated referral to appropriate treatment programs. Residents attend AA/NA on a daily basis and individual and group counseling is available.

BETHANY HOUSE

A residential program for female substance abusers. The program includes AA/NA attendance, group counseling, and assistance in obtaining employment. Special emphasis is placed on recovery issues particular to women.

BETHESDA LINK

An intensive residential program for adolescents ages 13-17.The program offers a comprehensive plan of treatment, education, and residential placement. Residents are taught socialization skills, life and living skills, as well as recovery issues. Supervision on a daily basis is designed to make the transition back into the family setting with little disruption. A family program for parents and siblings is also offered during residence. AA/NA attendance is required and male and female adolescents are accepted.

SAMARITAN COLONY

A 28 day residential program for adult males. The program emphasizes AA and educational components of recovery of a supportive nature designed to assist the substance abuser when he returns to the community. A family program is available.
